oh and qualifications for knitting lace does not mean you have to draw or do any complicated maths………to my knowledge, anyway, such as it is. So you could still count yourself a genius……….of sorts…………..I’m not letting my genius self down. Ah it’s hard to soar with eagles when ya have to scrabble on the ground with the turkeys!

It’s the day……i am assuming it is Tuesday there but it could be Monday. My day has been totally idiotic. So darls, welcome to the world of nongenius’s (spelling?). Errrrrrrr I think yer can find graph paper for knitting patterns on the internet for free!

Online graph paper is ok in a pinch, but the real stuff with the pale blue lines is better. You can ignore them and it’s like blank paper, or you can use them. I became a graph paper afficionado when I picked up a big stack of it at the science surplus store’s tent sale one year. The 1/4 inch square kind is my favorite. I suppose 1/4 inch is something in metric, but that be too mathy. Eureka! I’ve finally discovered a rhyme (besides Abernathy) for Kathy.

Amy: math does suck. How ironic that my first job as a $#*($*#)$(@*)#$( lawyer involved, at least three quarters of the time, calculating repayment plans for tenants and trying to decipher ledgers? Really embarrassing when your clients start correction your addition…

Why does math have to be part of EVERYTHING? Knitting is supposed to be relaxing, math is not relaxing, math sucks.

Oh dear, I can’t see my computer screen. I was just eating some yoghurt when I saw that ‘enhanced’ photo of you, Kristina, and a fine spray of low-fat organic strawberry gunge issued from my mouth.

The safety pin jacket looks sooper, but not quite as sooper as the Curve of Pursuit – my dream afghan, which some day will become a reality! Looking forward to the design!

I love graph paper!
But you can always find it online and print your own! Knitters’ graph paper, too, at the right ratio for your knitting stitches.
