I actually kinda like Jean Chretien’s Capri pants, but I think I would have worn them with some sandals or a nice flip-flop.

I’m a very gullible person, and I do hope that she has not led me down the garden path toward bankruptcy….

Soo – you must have lived everywhere! I like the idea of a week where one gets to dress in costume, wear funny hats and run around yelling “YEE-HAH!!”, of course. Perhaps we should start this in Toronto – a little “Take off that business suit and party” sort of thing. What say you?

I particularly liked M. Chretien’s pleated front jeans! I think it’s hilarious that Canadian politicians get a day to dress up like cowboys! Here in the US you know, they do that every day – well at least one of them does. We are hoping to end that particular dress up day in November. I can’t picture Barack Obama in chaps!
Love your yarn – you needed the blue after all that pink for sure. And someday you and I will have to discuss the whole universal health care thing. I’m for it, I think but only really know what Michael Moore said about it in Sicko so I need more information!

I lived in Cowpatch (as affectionately called it) for a couple of years and loved the Stampede. It is a surreal week where little work gets done and – despite all of your best intentions to maintain your dignity – at some point you will put on a cowboy had and say ‘yeeeehaw!’. Resistance is futile.
